Reliving the Middle Ages!
The next historical mediaeval spectacle in Zurich will be held from
20 to 22 May 2011!
In this colourful event, the Gesellschaft zu Fraumünster aims to present part of Zurich’s living cultural history to its citizens. The historical background to the Gesellschaft zu Fraumünster is the Fraumünster Abbey, which ruled the city for 650 years from 853 to 1524. The historical spectacle will be held in the Münsterhof, which is located right next to today’s Fraumünster church.
